ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome on my blogpost Juno's creations, named after my cat Juno. I am Nicky a 29 year old female living in the Netherlands. I love cardmaking, photographing, horseriding, travelling and way more. On this website I want to post blogs from the projects I have made, to help you learn more about cardmaking and some tricks I have learned. I try to do it in English and Dutch and you might find out my grammar is not the best, so please be kind. English was the hardest language for me to learn and even didn't passed my exam in high school, so there is hope for everyone who struggles with the language!

In May 2019 I started cardmaking, which started with simple background made with brushpens, but later I found out more techniques and fun stuff to use. I watched a lot of YouTube to get inspired and recreate cards, while learning. Later I discovered that recreating is nice to learn, but if you know the technique you can use other dies, stamps, stencils or products to make very nice cards. So I still love to watch YouTube for inspiration, but I also like to experiment with the products I have.

Because I live in the Netherlands and most crafters I follow are based in the USA it is also difficult to purchase the same products. Luckily more craftstores in the Netherlands and Belgium are selling the brands I really love. In my blogposts I will share the products I use, some things are Dutch, like my papercutter and glue and some products are from the USA mostly sold in the Netherlands or Belgium. 

If I mention a product it is not paid marketing, I don't work for any store, company or brand. I just share what I like and if something doesn't work for me it is also honest. But mainly I like to be positive and share the products I like, not where I buy them although you can always send me a DM on Instagram to ask me, the links for my instagram is below on this page with the instagram pictogram.
